Our Window
Cleaning Process
Over time, your exterior windows collect more than just dust. Pollen, dirt, hard water minerals, and other contaminants can leave glass looking cloudy and dull, reducing natural light and affecting the overall appearance of your home. Without proper cleaning, this buildup can become harder to remove and lead to permanent spotting.

Mop the glass, frame and track.
Using our handheld “mop” and a healthy dose of our biodegradable soap, we scrub the window several times over from top-to-bottom and side-to-side. This loosens up and suspends all of the dirt and grime that has built up over the past few months.

Scrub the glass, frame and tracks.
We use a walnut scrubbing pad, steel wool, or sometimes a wide razor blade to remove stubborn contaminants such as: paint, bugs, caulking, stickers. We will also use a special chemical to remove hard water spots when possible.

Squeegee the window glass.
Next, our technicians use an industrial-grade squeegee, along with a professional fanning technique, to remove all of the water, soap and dirt from the glass and leave it with a streak-free, residue-free, crystal clear shine.

Detail the glass, frame and track.
We use 100% cotton, lint-free towels to absorb and remove the remaining water and dirt around the edges of the window pane, the window frames, the tracks and the sills. This is an important step that often gets overlooked.

We recommend that your exterior windows be professionally cleaned at least four times a year. This ensures that mineral deposits and other contaminants will be removed from your windows before they can etch into the glass and create permanent damage.
When cleaning your windows, we also make sure to wipe down the frames and sills. We provide these extra services as a courtesy because it prevents dirt from washing off those areas and onto your nice clean windows.
We can remove hard water stains that have not been on the glass for long periods of time. If the hard water stains haven’t been cleaned off on a regular basis, the glass becomes etched by the corrosive nature of the minerals and they can be impossible to remove.
For exterior window cleanings, you do not need to be present as long as the screens can be removed from the outside, and we are able to easily access all sides of the property. After the work has been completed and you are satisfied with the results, we will send you an invoice that you can conveniently pay online.
If it is raining on the day of your window cleaning, either you can contact us, or we will get in touch with you to reschedule for the next available clear day to ensure the best results.
