Gutter Cleaning Process
Clogged gutters can lead to costly water damage or foundation issues. We don’t just scoop out the dirt; we provide a thorough cleaning of your roof, the gutters and the downspouts that ensures your home’s drainage system will function properly and protects your roof, siding, and landscaping from debris buildup and overflow.
Step 1: Roof
We start by clearing any leaves, twigs, needles, or debris that hass built up on your entire roof system. This prevents the very next rainstorm from washing more debris straight back into your clean gutters.
Step 2: Gutters
Using a variety specialized tools we thoroughly clean all of the leaves, twigs, needles, dirt and shingle grit that has accumulated in the bottom of your gutters. This allows water to flow freely to the downspouts at either end.
Step 3: Flush
Once the bulky debris has been removed, we flush the gutters with high pressure water. This removes the fine silt and shingle grit that has settled to the bottoom, and ensures the gutter channels are completely clear and ready for heavy rain.
Step 4: Downspouts
A clear gutter is useless if the downspout is plugged. We verify that every downspout is flowing freely from top to bottom, clearing any stubborn clogs to ensure water moves safely away from your home.

Gutter Cleaning FAQs
These are the questions we most often hear from our clients about our gutter cleaning service.
Gutter covers may help prevent debris from getting washed into the gutters, but they often become clogged themselves and prevent the proper flow of water into the gutter. Instead the water will flow over the front edge, or even worse, behind the back edge where it can damage the facia, soffit and siding. So keeping the roof and gutter covers clean is an important step in maintaining the health of your home.
For most homes, we recommend a professional cleaning twice a year—once in the spring and once in the late fall. However, if your property is surrounded by heavy tree cover (especially pine trees), you may benefit from quarterly cleanings.
Not at all! As long as we have access to your property and a functioning exterior water spigot, we can complete the job while you’re at work or running errands. We’ll leave your property tidy and can send a digital invoice upon completion.
We take great care to protect your home. We use ladder stand-offs to avoid denting your gutters and ensure all debris removed from the roof and gutters is bagged and hauled away, leaving your lawn and flower beds exactly as we found them.
If we notice loose brackets, leaking seams, or damaged downspouts while we are up there, we will take photos and let you know immediately so you can address the repairs before they become a bigger problem.
